Beginning my journey at GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley
June 25, 2015
Hello Families and Volunteers,
My name is Bailey Skrocki and I am proud to say I am the newest intern for GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley. I am looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and raising positive awareness about Down syndrome and this amazing nonprofit organization.
This is the first of many blog posts to come so feel free to comment and give me advice about how I can make this internship a life changing experience and a fascinating blog!
Sincerely,
Bailey Skrocki

Bailey, thanks for sharing your exciting beginning at Gigi’s playhouse. I am inspired by your enthusiasm and obvious love of the organization and the persons it is serving. It’s amazing to read on the website about the 23 Playhouses developed in such a short time, and how over 25,000 participants benefited from Playhouse programs, with no-fee programs! It’s wonderful to experience the positive energy in the trans-formative stories being shared. I look forward to your next blog post!
I am acquainted with GiGi’s Playhouse through my niece, Celine Lenehan Bucci, whose daughter GiGi — yes, that really is her name — has Down Syndrome. Celine posts on Facebook frequently with pictures of Gigi and other kids involved in the group. They live in Flossmoor so are probably affiliated with a different site (?). But if you would like me to put you in touch with them I would be happy to do that.
Congratulations on acquiring this wonderful job!!
