Tuesday, August 9, 2016 Participating Culver’s restaurants in the Chicago-land area will be hosting a fundraising event sponsored by Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, Illinois in which law enforcement officers will volunteer their time as “celebrity servers” to collect tips at Culver’s restaurants to support Special Olympics Illinois. The officers and Culver’s staff will interact with guests and raise both awareness and funds for over 20,000 Special Olympics athletes in Illinois. In 2015, Butter Burgers and Badges one day event raised nearly $20,000  and their goal for this year is to reach $30,000. This is a great opportunity to support a great organization like the special Olympics, Illinois while also enjoying delicious burgers, cheese curds, and frozen custard! Below is a link for the flyer of the event.
