Eliana Tardio – School Advocate

Saturday, May 18, 1:30-3

 

Eliana Tardio is the mother of Emir and Ayelen, both with Down syndrome. Emir is the first student fully included on access points in Lee County and is in Middle School in Three Oaks Elementary. Ayelen is in Pinewoods Elementary in 5th grade, included full time as well. Eliana is a world-wide inclusion advocate with more than half a million followers on social media and a bilingual blog with more than 200k monthly views. Among many awards, she has been named as Best Latino Advocate through the use of Social Media in an initiative of Latinos in Social Media and The White House on 2016 and Inclusion Leader by Hodges University on 2017. She recently participated in the Census Migrant Summit, invited by the Department of Commerce, as one of the Top 30 Florida Latina Community Leaders. She has a bachelor in Communications and PR, and master degrees in Marketing, and Legal Studies

Dominique Gasdia – Behavioral Therapist

Dominique Gasdi is a local Behavioral Therapist and has worked  with individuals with Down syndrome, including one of our GiGi’s Playhouse family’s. She will be sharing methods to help redirect and overcome behavioral situations.

Maria Bernabe – Speech & Language Pathologist

Maria Bernabe, MS, CCC-SLP is a bilingual, Speech-Language Pathologist in Naples, FL helping children, adolescents and young adults with a variety of speech and language disorders or delays. She also provides feeding and swallowing intervention. Maria specializes in early intervention and teletherapy services. She has worked in hospitals, schools, private practice and outpatient facilities. Maria also has experience in providing speech and language services via teletherapy which utilizes live video conferencing to provide therapy. She is the recipient of an ACE Award from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association for her dedication to continuing education in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.

Maria is the founder of Toddler SLP, a website dedicated to providing parent education about speech and language development and delays. She is also the co-founder of Telehealth Specialists which is dedicated to providing education to Speech and Language Pathologists seeking information about the field of telehealth. When not at work, she enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with her family.

Cynthia Sharpe – Biofeedback

Cynthia’s life journey has brought her to the full understanding of self healing.  She survived a car crash that left her with excruciating pain.  Soon after, she was processing the unexpected open heart surgery of her infant son.  It was during these times of her life that she sought alternative therapies for herself and family.
Due to her positive expereinces with alternative/integrative modalities, Cynthia is today offering help to others through several amazing programs.
Cymthia’s compassion and committment to helping others provide individuals with an exceptional opportunity to shift awareness and prompt their own healings.
Cynthia’s warmth and acceptance offers clients a welcoming and safe atmosphere to start their healing journey here at Integrity Biofeedback’s offices.
She is versed in several techniques and matches the program to the client intuitively, ensuring the best possible outcome.
