Our First Mom’s Night Out of 2017 was a Blast!

We had so much fun at our Mom’s Night Out on Thursday, and we can’t wait to host another one on March 23rd! We started off the night with some appetizers, wine, and conversation. We wanted to create a night where moms could have a moment for themselves, spark their creativity, and build community! With spin dip and moscato in hand our mommas enjoyed some time catching up and learning about each other. After we filled our tummies, it was time to craft. Our project for the night was creating fused glass disks centers for wine stoppers. Our moms had fun picking out their own glass to showcase their individuality and uniqueness. No two pieces were the same, but all were beautiful- just like our moms. To make the disks our ladies scored, broke, ground, polished, and glued to complete the disks. We ended the night will laughs and a look ahead for the next Mom’s night. Our GiGi U interns, Trinity and Joel will pick up where our moms left off to complete the wine stoppers. Trinity and Joel will fire each disk to fuse it together as well as strengthen it before gluing it to the metal wine stopper. We are so happy to have had such a successful and inspiring night thanks to everyone that was able to make it!
