Lizz Maxwell Steps Into Role of Executive Director

We are beyond thrilled to announce the promotion of Lizz Maxwell to Executive Director of GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland! Lizz Maxwell has always been a fierce advocate for our friends with Down syndrome, tirelessly working to create a more inclusive and supportive world for everyone. From the moment she joined GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland in 2016, Lizz has led the way with passion, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the Down syndrome community. Her leadership goes beyond just our Playhouse – she has been a beacon of hope and inspiration not only in our Northeast Ohio community, but across our entire 61+ Playhouse network. Lizz’s commitment to embracing the potential of every individual with Down syndrome is evident in everything she does, making her a true champion for inclusivity, opportunity, and change.

We invited our Co-Board Presidents, Regional Manager, and Chief Belief Officer and Founder – Nancy Gianni, to share their thoughts on this huge advancement in our Cleveland community!
