Lizz Maxwell Steps Into Role of Executive Director

We invited our Co-Board Presidents, Regional Manager, and Chief Belief Officer and Founder – Nancy Gianni, to share their thoughts on this huge advancement in our Cleveland community!

“On behalf of the Board of Managers, we are thrilled to announce the promotion of Lizz Maxwell to Executive Director of GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland. Lizz’s dedication and passion for the GiGi’s mission has been a strong driver of our Playhouse’s success, making Cleveland consistently rank among the top Playhouses in the network. Her love and commitment for the Down syndrome community shines through in all her interactions – from welcoming new families to being an advocate for our older participants. Lizz was one of the first people to welcome our family to the Playhouse 8 years ago, and we are beyond honored to work with her every day. Congratulations, Lizz!!”

“I am thrilled to congratulate Lizz Maxwell on her well-deserved promotion to Executive Director. Her ability to build meaningful relationships has made every participant, family, volunteer, and donor feel truly seen and appreciated. Lizz exemplifies our core values of Enthusiasm, Get It Done, Best of All, Believe, Locally Concerned, and Enterprise Minded every single day. Not only is she a remarkable leader in the Cleveland area, but her influence extends across our national network of over 60 locations, inspiring countless individuals to embrace the potential of those with Down syndrome and fostering a more inclusive community for all.”

“Lizz is a committed leader to GiGi’s Playhouse Cleveland and to the entire GiGi’s network of 61 Playhouses. She leads with gratitude and spreads that gratitude and love with an energy that is contagious! I cannot think of a better person to be the Executive Director of GiGi’s Playhouse, Believeland! “
