EPIC Enjoys The Second City Improv Class

The Second City Improv Visits our EPIC Program

A big thanks goes out to the two guest leaders from The Second City who taught our adult participants a little about improv. Participants can learn so much through practicing improv. The EPIC participants built their trust in each other through several of the exercises. One in particular, where they had to do whatever the person next to them told them to do. That could be pretty scary. What if they were told to do something really off the wall? They also had to trust their peers when performing knowing they won’t be made fun of or boo’d off stage. They participated in other team building exercises strengthening their communication skills. The adults built “machines”, participated in group poses, and sang songs where they had to build off each other. All of the participants had a great time and we loved watching them perform!
