Congratulations to the fall 2024 GIGI Prep class!!

On November 14th, we celebrated the remarkable achievements of an incredible group of young adults: Alyssa, Christopher (“CJ”), Emma, Eric, Hannah, Joey, and Olivia! The festivities kicked off with the grand opening of GiGi’s Butterfly Café, where guests enjoyed delicious treats along with stellar customer service. Each class member then took the stage to share highlights from the GIGI Prep, GiGi Kitchen, and GIGIFit Program, which focused on enhancing communication, life, and career skills, along with promoting health and wellness. Additionally, they discussed their objectives achieved during the 10-week course. It was a joyful afternoon dedicated to celebrating each of them! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the amazing volunteers who generously donated their time and talents. Their support, from 1:1 money math tutoring to teaching cooking skills, significantly enhanced the development of career and communication skills for these young adults!

The GiGi Prep career development program requires a small army of dedicated, kind, encouraging, and creative people, for which I am very grateful! They each contributed to the success of the program and enabled each member of the class to reach their potential.
