From the Executive Director

As I reflect on the stories shared throughout this month’s newsletter, I am reminded that every achievement begins with a community that believes in possibility.

Whether it’s a participant discovering new confidence through speech and language therapy, building leadership skills, performing in Theatre Expressions, or representing GiGi’s Playhouse at community events, every success is made possible because of people like you.

As we prepare for our annual Sea’s the Day Gala, I invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening of celebration, community, and impact. As our largest fundraiser of the year, the gala provides essential support that allows GiGi’s Playhouse Annapolis to continue offering free educational, therapeutic, and adult education programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

Whether you purchase a ticket, become a sponsor, donate an auction item, or simply share our mission with others, your support helps ensure that every participant has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment where they are accepted, celebrated, and empowered to achieve their fullest potential.

Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us change the way the world views Down syndrome. I hope to see you at the Sea’s the Day Gala this October as we celebrate another year of achievements and invest in an even brighter future for our Playhouse community.
