Art Explosion Benefits The Entire Community!

In 2022, a new business opened near our Playhouse. The owner immediately contacted us, eager to explore a partnership. We were delighted to accept, and our collaboration with Honest Art has been invaluable.

We were delighted to attend art classes at their art studio; from the onset, it was a popular class, often having a waitlist. They strived to work with us and to make the classes accessible and purposeful for all involved. Gabe, the CEO of Honest Art, has always found the class meaningful and something he felt strongly about providing for the community.

Due to the class’s success, Honest Art opened its class to the whole community earlier this year. Every other Tuesday, the studio provides free art classes to individuals with special needs. The students work on various projects and demonstrate their #Best of All.

When we contacted Gabe this summer, he assured us that these classes would continue indefinitely. ‘This class is important to us,’ he said. ‘We will almost certainly keep this schedule uninterrupted for years to come. Thank you for helping us get this off the ground – without GiGi’s, this would never have happened!’ The impact of these classes on the community is undeniable.

In addition to Gabe and his staff’s dedication and generosity, they push the students to demonstrate their ‘best of all.’ In the summer, they highlighted one of our participants on their social media accounts.

“Samantha has been coming to Honest Art since we opened, and her skills have improved tremendously! She is incredibly precise, and throughout our time together, we have seen her loosen up a bit and create more freely than before! Amazing job, Samantha.”

Art Explosion @ Honest Art is a top-rated program for all ages. Thank you to everyone at Honest Art for making this possible. Register for a class today – www.gigisplayhouse.org/westchester/sfcalendar!
