GiGi’s Receives $10,000 Grant from Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin
GiGi’s Playhouse Wausau is thrilled to announce that we have received a generous $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin. This funding will be instrumental in enhancing our facilities and improving the efficiency of our operations, ultimately benefiting the individuals with Down syndrome and their families who rely on our services.
Enhancing Our Playhouse
The grant will be used to build out three key areas within the Playhouse. These improvements are designed to streamline our operations, making it easier for our dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver the high-quality programs and services that GiGi’s Playhouse is known for.
- Staff and Volunteer Efficiency: One of the primary goals of this project is to create a more efficient workspace for our staff and volunteers. By optimizing the layout and functionality of these areas, we can ensure that our team has the resources and environment they need to work effectively and comfortably.
- Storage for Program Items: Another critical aspect of the project is the development of a dedicated storage area for our math program materials. This will not only help us keep our resources organized but also ensure that they are easily accessible when needed. Proper storage is essential for maintaining the quality and longevity of our educational tools and supplies.
- Enhanced Security: The grant will also fund the installation of additional cameras both inside and outside the Playhouse. This will enhance the security of our facility, providing peace of mind for our families, staff, and volunteers.
