Relationship Building for a Global Community

Providing us with a sense of belonging, support, and shared purpose, communities are sources of friendship, identity, and mutual aid.

The Virtual Playhouse was formed with a goal of providing opportunities and a virtual platform for people to come together, regardless of geographic boundaries, to exchange ideas, seek advice, and foster meaningful relationships.

Virtual Community Groups and Programs

Would you benefit from a virtual community group or community program? This year, we strive to form community groups that you need/want. Please share with us your ideas or any needs you may have in this brief survey.

We are growing our community on Facebook. Can you help us out? Please follow us on the GiGi’s Playhouse Virtual Playhouse Facebook page and share. Thank you!

Participants and Families Find Community with the Virtual Playhouse

Virtual Playhouse participants and families share their experiences of finding community, growth, and achievement. We are so happy our Virtual Playhouse community is growing and thriving! Noah
“We enjoy GiGi’s Virtual Playhouse for everything it represents. Inclusion, compassion, growth, understanding and most of all FUN! To engage in an activity with other children and their families is a gift and a reminder that we are not alone, and that we are a mighty community of fierce love and determination!”

Jeremy
Along with other families, volunteers, staff and supporters, “During the month of May, we set a GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge – Virtual Movement goal. Jeremy was excited every time we went out to walk, and we were so proud to see him meet his fitness goals. This challenge allowed him to share his goals and achievements with family and friends,” welcoming them to experience the GiGi’s Virtual Playhouse community.

Robert
Robert uses his talents to support the GiGi’s Virtual Playhouse community as a volunteer. “I know that I can help bring people together through dance,” Robert says. “I want to make the world a better place through dance.”

Please see the Virtual Playhouse blogs for more photos and stories.
