Introducing Enrollment Program Leaders

We are so thrilled that the Fall Session is starting off soon for all our enrollment programs! We are thrilled to be offering GiGiFIT Kids, GiGi’s Kitchen Kids, and GiGi’s Kitchen Adult this Fall! These 15-week enrollment programs are a big commitment for our families as well as our volunteers and we know that many best of all moments are on the way! We wanted to take a moment to introduce our new program leaders to our Virtual family.

Glynis: GiGi’s Kitchen Adult Program Leader

“Hi! My name is Glynis and I live in North Carolina. I love to cook and prepare food for other people. I share a home with my daughter and our two dogs and enjoy taking them for long walks in nature. I love volunteering and do so in a few different ways. I’m very excited to meet our amazing GiGi’s cooks! See you in the kitchen!”

Chloe: GiGiFIT Kids Program Leader

“Hi! My name is Chloe. I’m 23 years old and am currently working to become a genetic counselor. I went to UCLA, I love hiking, animals, and the beach! I’m so excited to work with all of you and think we’re going to have a great time together!”

Avisha: GiGi’s Kitchen Kids Program Leader

Hello everyone! My name is Avisha Thota, and I am the program leader for GiGi’s Kitchen Kids. I am currently an undergraduate student from Chicago, IL and I love working with my community, especially with younger children. I am also a volunteer for GiGi’s Playhouse Down to Dance during the fall and spring months. Some of my hobbies include dancing and cooking. I am so excited to be part of the GiGi’s Playhouse community!

Thank you Glynis, Avisha, and Chloe for volunteering your time to change the way the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all! Our participants are enjoying learning from you and we are so grateful to have you on the team!
