Acceptance and Achieving Goals – Jeremiah

This past year, Jeremiah (Jeremy) has been participating in GiGi’s Virtual Playhouse programming including 1-on-1 Math Tutoring, Down to Dance, and GiGi’s Kitchen Adult. In May, Jeremy and his family were also active participants in the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge – Virtual Movement – raising acceptance in the community and funds to support Virtual Playhouse programming. We are so fortunate Jeremy and his family are an integral part of the Virtual Playhouse community!
Jeremy’s parents share his experience and the impact of GiGi’s Playhouse.
Culture of Acceptance
“We enjoy GiGi’s Playhouse because of the culture of acceptance. Here, Jeremy is accepted for who he is, at the level that he is at while being provided with the opportunity to grow and improve in so many areas like social skills.”

Virtual Programs

“Jeremy loves GiGi’s Virtual Playhouse and all the programs. We only have to mention ‘GiGi’s’ and he is ready to go!!! No matter what! His favorite program is Down to Dance because he likes music and dancing.
We like GiGi’s because it provides adult programs allowing Jeremy who is 23 years old to participate in age-appropriate and relevant programs.”
Best of All
“Jeremy’s Best of All with GiGi’s Virtual Playhouse was his participation in the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge – Virtual Movement. During the month of May, we set a movement goal. He was excited every time we went out to walk, and we were so proud to see him meet his fitness goals. Since then, he has created some good habits. This challenge also allowed him to share his goals and achievements with family and friends.”

“As his parents, we are happy to see Jeremy feeling a sense of belonging as he looks forward to attending the sessions. Overall, we have seen increased interaction with others since he has become part of the GiGi’s Playhouse family.”
It has been a true pleasure getting to know Jeremy and his family! We look forward to learning and growing with Jeremy this year.
