Why I Run,Walk & Dash | Team Mikey | GiGi's Playhouse Syracuse

We are 5 Days away from the 2017 GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse 5k, 1 Mile Inspiration Walk & Kids Dash for Down Syndrome! We have our friend Amy Cavallaro on the #gigisblog today sharing why she is participating once again!

What is your Team name? – Team Mikey
Are you honoring anyone with your team, if yes, why? – This year I am honoring Mikey Edward Cota. Some one special I knew through GiGi’s Playhouse.
How do you do your Best of All each Day? – I am kind, considerate of others feelings, I include people and encourage but best of all I show love to everyone around me.
What is you favorite Program to participate in at GiGi’s Playhouse? Why? – My favorite program is Gratitude Committee which I host and enjoy all the activities that we do such as thank you cards and mugs. We are always coming up with new things to do.
What is your favorite way to volunteer at GiGi’s Playhouse? Why?
My favorite program to volunteer at is Open Play because I love being around kids and seeing how happy they are. My other favorite way to volunteer is to be there and help with whatever is needed. I just love being there!
