This program provides hands on experience with multiple art media and provides an outlet for individuals with Down syndrome to express themselves, build confidence and socialize with peers.
This program is for adults age 18 and up.
The materials you will need for this week’s class are:
Watercolors (if you don’t have access to watercolors, then a set of markers, colored pencils or even crayons would work), a couple of pencils, an eraser, paper, a few things from outside that have interesting shapes to them, such as leaves, flowers, etc., and a picture of a natural landscape you like. The picture could be on your phone or tablet or be printed in a book. A newspaper or something to protect your workspace if you are using watercolors.
