Rising to the Challenge

On June 6th, we collectively traveled to the MOON AND BACK (TWICE!) with over ONE BILLION STEPS logged and over $1.3 million raised for Global Acceptance through our Generation G Step To Accept Challenge!

From Poland to Sweden to the UK and Mexico, and all over the US, almost 100,000 believers were proudly walking, running, hiking, swimming and riding to say I CAN AND WILL ACCEPT YOU AS YOU ARE!

In Syracuse, we had 16 teams, 152 participants and raised over $18,000 in support of our free purposeful programs. Thank you to all who started or joined a team or lent their support through donations or encouragement.

We heard so many stories of kindness, acceptance and appreciation:

“My sister-in-law who lives in a suburb of Minneapolis, MN with her husband and their 5 kids, biked for our Playhouse on Saturday. While biking they saw 2 families they know and were able to tell these other families about GiGi’s Playhouse!” – Kara

“I was with Bill yesterday and as he watched the live stream, he burst into tears a few times because he was so overwhelmed by what GiGi’s means. He said “I love GiGi’s so much, I am important at GiGi’s and I am proud.” Bill also arranged on his own to borrow a bike from a friend so he could ride for 3 miles for Step To Accept! He was amazed to see all our Playhouses showing up and telling him how worthy he is.” – Heather

Thank you to our sponsors KeyBank, JC Smith, Pathfinder Bank and Community Bank for always believing in us and our mission. We are so appreciative of your continued support!

Our mission for acceptance doesn’t end here! There’s still time to donate at www.steptoaccept.org. Every dollar raised will help make up the 76% revenue loss from having to cancel our two largest fundraising events due to COVID-19. Be sure to choose Syracuse to ensure your donation is sent directly to our Playhouse. Thank you for your continued support!
