COVID Can’t Stop Us!!

Hello friends! We hope you are doing well during these trying times; we have missed seeing you all at the Playhouse! While it seems as though most of the world has been on a hiatus since COVID hit, GiGi’s has been more bustling than ever by offering a slew of virtual programming, from LMNOP to Family yoga. Our very own Playhouse caught the virtual programming bug and began offering virtual programming in July with programs such as Fantastic Friends Coffee Talk, GiGiFIT Teen & Adult, and Art Explosion! We have had so much fun offering our virtual programs that we plan to continue to offer them, but if virtual programming just doesn’t quite fit your needs, we have some exciting news to share… GiGi’s Playhouse Southern Tier will be reopening its doors in August! Once open, we will be offering a limited amount of programming to a limited number of participants. What does that mean for you?! Well, it means that RSVP’ing to all the GiGi’s programming we will be offering will be more important than ever. We want to ensure that all of our participants, families, and volunteers stay safe while offering our purposeful programming, so we need to be sure to adhere to all COVID guidelines and precautions, such as not operating at full capacity, facilitating health screenings of participants, families, and volunteers at our check-in station, hand sanitization upon checking in and after programming, maintaining social distancing, wearing face coverings, and staying at home if we feel sick. All of these guidelines and precautions may make the Playhouse look a little different from what you may remember, and we know it will be an adjustment for everyone as we settle into our “new normal,” but we can do this together! If all these changes to our Playhouse seem too overwhelming for you right now, don’t sweat it; you can still join us for all of our programming virtually and we will be just as excited to see you through a screen!
