Meet our friend Jessica!

My  name is Jessica. 37 years  ago  I  was born with Down  syndrome .  I had a lot of struggles in my life and one was  a life situation.  At the age of 7,  I was  going through open heart surgery.  The doctor in the state of Minnesota did the surgery and  everything  went  well. The  waiting  took forever and  the  prayers  helped.  Now, once a  year I go for check ups with my  heart doctor.

Being born with Down syndrome means I am artistic in my  own special way.  Acceptance means that I am accepted by the love  of every one  around  me. I  have one special guardian angel my “Grandfather Tomic “. I  am so excited to have GiGi’s  Playhouse in the area because  I  want them to reach for their  dreams. I  want to be the BEST ROLE MODEL for all of them!
