Reflecting on an Incredible 2024 at GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento

As we look back on 2024, we are filled with pride, gratitude, and joy for everything we accomplished together at GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento. This year has been nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to our amazing community of participants, families, volunteers, and supporters.

From the unforgettable 2024 GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge at Maidu Park—complete with inspiring speeches, a rocking GiGi’s band performance, and an outpouring of love—to our 5th Annual Golf Outing, which raised essential funds for our life-changing programs, every event showcased the heart of GiGi’s mission.

We celebrated World Down Syndrome Day at Leatherby’s, bringing our community together for sweet treats and smiles. Our annual Rosè for a Cause at Happy Dayz Vineyard was another standout moment, with delicious wines, great company, and unwavering support for GiGi’s programs. And who could forget the spooktastic fun at our Trunk-or-Treat event? It was a blast seeing our participants and families enjoy the Halloween spirit in full force.

We also rang in the holiday season with our Holly Jolly Jubilee, a magical day filled with games, cookies, and Santa photos. And we closed out the year with our Rockin’ New Year at Noon celebration, where participants and families sang and danced their way into 2025, complete with festive fun and lots of smiles!

This year, we also welcomed a wonderful new member to our team—Missy! From the moment she joined, Missy’s positivity and dedication have made an incredible impact, and we absolutely adore her.

With all these memories and more, 2024 truly demonstrated the power of love, acceptance, and inclusion.

As we step into 2025, we can’t wait to see what this new year will bring. With your continued support, we’re ready to dream even bigger, champion more individuals with Down syndrome, and create an even more inclusive community. From expanding programs to hosting more unforgettable events, the possibilities are endless.
