Sacramento Kings in the (Play)house!

This past December, GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento had an extra special guest visit us at the Playhouse- Domantas Sabonis from the Sacramento Kings! The three time NBA All Star joined us for a Destination Discovery Holiday Party; we had a great time hosting him & his team! Sabonis joined in on the festivities alongside our participants and families- cookie decorating, creating holiday cards, and making ornaments.

Our participants had the best time hanging out with our local celebrity guest and Sabonis was incredibly gracious and kind- signing autographs and chatting with every person! We also learned that basketball players are really tall- it was fun to see how we all measured up. Overall, everyone had a great time, with one participant saying “I really think that Sabonis is a great guy!”

We agree! Thank you Domanatas Sabonis for visiting us at GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento! You’re welcome back any time, and we’ll all be rooting for the Sacramento Kings this season- #BeamTeam for life!!
