OUR VOLUNTEERS ROCK!

Volunteer Appreciation Month may be coming to a close, but the impact of our volunteers is something we celebrate all year long.

At GiGi’s Playhouse Rockford, our volunteers are truly the heart and soul of everything we do. Throughout the month, we’ve had the opportunity to highlight just a few of the incredible individuals who give their time, energy, and passion to support our mission—but the truth is, it would take far more than a month to fully recognize all that they do.

From leading and assisting with programs, organizing and helping out at events, and jumping in wherever there’s a need—our volunteers show up with positivity, dedication, and a genuine love for our participants. They create meaningful connections, build confidence, and help foster a space where individuals with Down syndrome can thrive, grow, and be celebrated for exactly who they are.

What makes our volunteer community so special isn’t just what they do, but how they do it. They bring patience, encouragement, and joy into every interaction. They celebrate big milestones, small victories, and everything in between. They help turn everyday moments into meaningful experiences for the participants we serve.

To every volunteer who has given their time—whether it’s once a week, once a month, or whenever you’re able—please know that your impact is real and lasting. You are making a difference in ways that matter more than words can express!
