She has a purpose and plan every day and isn’t that what everyone wants? GiGi’s has given that to her!

Carly, a rockstar participant, has helped keep our participation numbers at all time high! She is involved with virtual programming locally & nationally (averaging 7 programs/wk), the Pen Pal Program and always willing to help represent GiGi’s as a Ambassador. In all her virtual participation, she has shined with new skills & confidence and made friends across the world. Her goal is to travel and see her new bffs in Cleveland from the National GiGi Fit program.

Recently, Carly was interviewed by a group of UNC students, who partnered with GiGi’s for their class project. The students learned all things Carly loves as a person and as a participant at GiGi’s- she highlighted some of her favorite programs and why they make her happy. She also let us in on a few secrets, her favorite things at GiGi’s are to sing Karaoke and “the cute boy volunteers”. She’s a ham!

Carly’s mom shared- “She is really enjoying her pen pals and even planning her next letters out, buying postcards to send, and is the first at the mailbox daily. She has a purpose and plan every day and isn’t that what everyone wants? GiGi’s has given that to her.”
