I love that GiGi’s Playhouse has connected me to so many wonderfully caring people

GiGi’s Playhouse came into my life back in 2015 when it was just a dream. That dream quickly turned into a reality, and that reality came with the most amazing group of people, who have now become the most wonderful HAPPY FAMILY.

I love everything about GiGi’s Playhouse. I love the hope it brings to families. I love the sense of belonging it gives so many. I love how GiGi’s Playhouse has the ability to change lives. I love that GiGi’s Playhouse has connected me to so many wonderfully caring people. I love how GiGi’s Playhouse and the community have become ONE. But most of all, I love that GiGi’s Playhouse has empowered ME to Educate Inspire and Believe!

Maria is the precious mom of a beautiful young adult Lucia. She sits on our board of directors and has a huge passion for helping our Hispanic families experience the purposeful programs at GiGi’s. You can find Maria and her daughter Lucia out in the community proudly sharing about their involvement with GiGi’s and the potential of our friends with Down syndrome.

Lucia has her drivers license, works two jobs and is bi lingual. We are so proud of Lucia and the way she is showing the world how capable she is!

We are so thankful for the ways Maria shares her heart with our playhouse, her smile and love for others is contagious!
