“It’s the Friends we meet along the way that help us appreciate the journey . . . . . .”

I would like you to meet some of my Playhouse friends….. They are so awesome!

Please meet one of my friends, Alex. His favorite program was definitely the Reading Program. He wishes he could have done more, but it was too far from home. Alex’s favorite food is seafood, especially crab legs (yummy choice Alex)! His full name is Matthew Alexander but everyone calls him Alex! Alex has one sister named Andrea, one brother named Cristian, 2 dogs (chihuahua named Pickles and a golden retriever named Beni) and a cat named Cushner! Alex loves video games and says he is very good at them😀). Alex has a few favorite places he likes to go, right now he is going to the gym with a program called Special Strong. He does dance on Wednesdays and weight lifting on Thursdays (wow, you are very busy!). When asked what Alex is most thankful for at GiGi’s he said “The warmth and welcome feeling from all the staff and all those that came there. It is good to be in a place where judgement was out the window and everyone looked at you like a person and not your disability”. Alex goes on to say “I wish there were more opportunities closer to home so I could have been more involved and maybe have had an opportunity to make a life long friend”. ❤️😊❤️
