GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix is GRATEFUL-Happy Thanksgiving

GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix is GRATEFUL.

On this Thanksgiving Day, let us take a moment to express our gratefulness to all our Donors, Volunteers, GiGi’s Families, GiGi’s Friends, GiGi’s Staff and the Community in the Greater Phoenix Area who continue to support GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix and the Career Development Center.

This past year continued to bless the Playhouse with abundance.  In turn, we were able to open the Career Development Center and are now offering programs such as GiGi Prep, GiGi U and soon GiGi’s Studio Café.  These programs support the growth of our Adult population and will help them fulfill their career goals and independence.

The Literacy, Math, and Speech Tutoring programs are serving over 50 students each session and growing.  These programs offer one on one tutoring with our very talented and dedicated volunteers.

All the GiGi’s programs are purposeful and progressive in nature serving all age groups from birth through adulthood.   Amazingly, through the generosity of the Community, we offer all programs free of charge.  GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix and the Career Development Center are now serving a population of over 550 Families in our data base and growing an average of 8 new Families per month.

GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix is 99% run by Volunteers who donate their time and talent.  Their dedication and commitment is beyond approach and we are truly grateful.

Our GiGi’s Families continue to be very active at the Playhouse and help guide us in the direction of what is needed to support our Participants via the Programs we offer and the future programming growth.  Each year, several of our GiGi’s Families help raise funds to support operations via the Annual Friends Campaign.  This year they raised over $37,000.00.

The business community continues to support the Playhouse and Career Development Center through their donations, grants, and In-Kind donations.    It truly takes a village!  We couldn’t do what we do without their generosity.

We are grateful for our GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix Founder and our GiGi’s Board of Directors who also are Volunteers who dedicate their talent and hundreds of hours governing the growth and sustainability of the Playhouse.

We are grateful for all our GiGi’s Participants who come to the programs and give their “Best of All” everyday.  It is why we do what we do.
