Teens and Young Adults at GiGi’s Playhouse!
plai ensemble theatre, guest artists in residence at GiGi’s Playhouse NYC, are making waves with the coolest new Playhouse participants – teens and young adults we meet weekly to create and share the magic of theatre in a public performance scheduled for our local, Harlem library.

What a fun afternoon we had this past Saturday! It was great to:
- learn 2 new songs
- Hello my name is…
- “Now I Walk in Beauty”
- hear our “Orchestra” come to life
- see a little snake be reunited with her Father
- and surprise a Snow Man for his birthday!
This Saturday, April 12th, will be our second session. As we are building the group and beginning to create our Performance Piece, it is important to have the participants attend the sessions weekly. I’ve attached the schedule. The Saturdays we will meet are:
- April 12 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 2
- April 26 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 3
- May 3 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 4
- May 10 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 5
- May 17 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 6
- May 31 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 7
- June 7 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 8
- June 14 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 9
- June 21 – 2-4:30 pm (Rehearsal) 500 – 5:30 – Session 10 SHOW!!!
- June 28 – 4:30 – 5:30 – Session 11
All are welcome this Saturday, April 12th! This will be the last Saturday that we are accepting new members.
