It’s summer which means its time for our Summer Adventures and Summer Clubhouse programs at GiGi’s Playhouse NYC! Last year was our inaugural year and we’re excited to bring both programs back with new and exciting activities planned.
Here is everything you need to know to get involved, or snag one of our final spaces that are available!
summer adventures
Week 1: July 31st- August 4th
Week 2: August 7th- August 11th
Summer Adventures is a program for Teens (13-19) with Down syndrome. Each day kids are dropped off at 9am, and picked up at 5pm. In between the spend the day exploring New York City, developing friendships and skills for independence, and having a blast! Paired with a one-to-one volunteer mentor, our participants are able to engage in a variety of fun and enriching activities and trips. Activities include, music, dancing, cooking, fitness, arts & crafts, and karaoke. Trips include Aladdin on Broadway, Bowling in Times Square, Mets Baseball game, and more!
VOLUNTEER: We still need a few volunteers, mostly for week 1! If you’re interested email nyc@gigisplayhouse.org
ATTEND: This program is full, but you can apply to be on our waitlist. We also will have opportunities for kids who can’t come the full week to at least spend a day with the program!
Summer Clubhouse
Week 1: August 21st- August 25th
Week 2: August 28th- September 1st

Non Drop off
Summer Clubhouse is an engaging summer program for children with Down syndrome (4-10 Years Old). Each day, kids participate in various activities from fitness, dance and music, to arts and crafts, cooking, and gardening! Siblings are welcome!
You can register for 5 days, 3 days, or 2 days each week and there are still a few spots available!
