We love the Literacy Program!

People ask me why I have my son, Stephen in GiGi’s Playhouse McHenry Co. literacy program every session.  I would answer simply “That I believe in the program and that I know it helps him to be better a better reader.” At his IEP the teachers always say reading is his best subject. “At his last IEP, 2 weeks ago his teacher once again reinforced how well he reads and comprehend books he reads. She told me she was excited to be moving Stephen up to the next level of books by the beginning of the year. A level she had never had the opportunity to introduce to with any other students in her 10 years as a teacher.” That right there will now be my new answer as to why I keep Stephen in the literacy program and why I love GiGi’s Playhouse McHenry County!
