A Whirlwind of Acceptance, Generosity and Kindness!

We have had an incredible few months here at GiGi’s Playhouse Long Island!  We wanted to take a few moments to thank our fantastic community again!

We kicked off the year with our first ever Black-Tie gala where we had 187 people attend and they generously donated $103,000.  Joining our Chief Belief Office, Nancy Gianni, and the Chief Inspiration Officer THE GiGi Gianni!  This event not only was a fun-filled night of great food, dancing, and inspiration, it also raised the needed funds to continue growing our programs here on Long Island!  Stay tuned for our 2023 date!

 

 

Now let’s talk about the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge where we joined the entire GiGi’s Network on the MOVEment for acceptance! With over 225 people attending and 22 Teams registered GiGi’s Playhouse Long Island raised a little over $20,000! Everyone had a great time, the weather was gorgeous, spending time with old and new friends and a little healthy competition thrown in, it was all just a wonderful day with our community! There were so many fun things to do, we had wiffle ball, soccer, basketball, jump rope, hula hoops, connect four, frisbee, cornhole, dancing and so much more. We had a great lunch with so much food, hot dogs, pizza, salad, pasta, mozzarella sticks, American and Italian Hero’s, ending with nice cold ices!

 

Meet James! James is the individual that James’ Avengers walked for.  His team raised $4,300 in the MOVEment for Acceptance.  James has been a regular participant in GiGiFIT and Fantastic Friends since we opened our doors.  James is excited about improving his fitness.  After each GiGiFIT class, he proudly shows off his completed rings on his Apple Watch.  James also loves to golf with his Dad.  James is always improving his repetitions with our exercises.  Thank you James for always giving your #BestofAll
