2019 National Leadership Conference!

Last week, the GiGi’s Playhouse National Leadership Conference took place at the Hyatt in Schaumburg. The conference gathers staff and volunteers from the entire network of GiGi’s Playhouse. There were over 300 attendees from 60 cities and Mexico!

Because the Hoffman Playhouse houses the National Office, our interns in the Career Development programs have so many amazing opportunities to be ambassadors for GiGi’s Playhouse. Some of our career development interns were able to attend and play key roles at the National Leadership Conference. 

Their roles included greeting attendees, mingling with guests, networking with other GiGi’s participants from across the network, demonstrating programming, announcing presenters, and much more!

Farzin Sharyari even had the opportunity to introduce Chief Belief Officer Nancy Gianni before she gave her State of Business address. He definitely made us proud!

Giving opportunities to our adult interns to attend events like this while playing a important roles helps promote self-confidence, professionalism, and giving their best of all!
