Volunteering in a Postive Atmosphere

My name is Emily and I started volunteering in the summer of 2016. I became involved at GiGi’s Playhouse after hearing about the positive impact the playhouse had on families and I decided I wanted to join an organization where everyone treats each other like a family. I can be found making crafts during Playhouse Pals/ Kids Club, playing in the ball pit during Open Play, singing songs during LMNOP, creating literacy books, or participating at any of the Family Fun Nights. The second I walk into GiGi’s Playhouse I feel nothing except happy. The vibrant, fun programs and services offered to families at GiGi’s Playhouse create an amazing place that allows me to discover new passions and gain new insights. In addition, I have the chance to make an impact and help others which is the best feeling in the world. GiGi’s Playhouse is a fun place filled with happiness and I am more than grateful to have the opportunity to volunteer in such a positive atmosphere.
