Volunteer Spotlight: Suraj (program leader for Crawlers & Walkers and Destination Discovery)

Suraj is a medical student at Midwestern University in the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He keeps busy as the President of the Student Osteopathic Medical Association, First-Year Liaison for Medical Students for Choice, class liaison for the Internal Medicine Club and 2023 Class Council.

When Suraj asked if he could be involved in GiGi’s Playhouse Fox Valley we jumped at the chance!  We are eager to have Suraj as a part of our team and look forward to when we call all meet in person for programming!!!

Suraj: “I volunteer with GiGi’s to be surrounded by some of the brightest kids I know. Their imaginations are out of this world and inspire me to live my life in color. They are so eager to learn, to play, and to interact. As much as I volunteer to help these awesome kids reach their personal goals (and teach them a thing or two along the way), they teach me just as much in return.”
