Volunteer Spotlight: Jessica Keenan and BDI Playhouse

We contacted BDI Playhouse for a donation of candy for our Trunk or Treat in October and the relationship has turned into so much more! Jessica Keenan (SLP), Sheri Ireland-Berk (PT) and Teri Westra (OT) came to 2 & Under on 11/30 as a support to our parents and answered questions. We learned about games to play, proper sitting posture, and orthotics. Jessica also came back during LMNOP and gave our program leader great tips on how to make our program better. We learned about how to differentiate our lessons for different ages and how to use core vocabulary in our sessions. BDI Playhouse has also generously offered free parent & child classes to GiGi’s participants for the month of January. We are so grateful for the donation of time and expertise!
