Hello Fox Valley!

Good morning Fox Valley families and visitors! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Lauren Chiszar and I am the new site coordinator at GiGi’s Playhouse Fox  Valley. I am so excited to be taking on this role and working with all of you. I stepped into this position about 3 weeks ago and have had the opportunity to meet a lot of smiling faces so far! I  cannot wait to meet more of you in person!

I have recently moved back from the area after spending some time living in the state of Iowa. I attended school at the University of Iowa where I received my BSW from the school of social work.  I spent some time doing clinical social work at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, then decided to switch gears and head back to IL! I am so excited to be back closer to loved ones. I grew  up down in the southwest suburbs, near the Tinley Park GiGi’s location! Small world! On days I’m not at GiGi’s Fox Valley, you can find me spending time outdoors, cuddling my pup, hanging out  with friends and family, and of course, cheering on the Hawkeyes!
