Spring is in Full Swing at GiGi’s Playhouse!

Hello GiGi’s families! It’s Courtney here, and I am so excited to kick off another amazing season of programs at GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo! After a fantastic winter session, we are ready for warmer days, new opportunities, and lots of fun.

One of the best parts about this spring session is that all of our incredible volunteers are returning! This means minimal training is needed, and most importantly, our participants will continue to build strong connections with familiar faces. Consistency is key, and I know how much it benefits our friends at the Playhouse to see the same trusted volunteers each week.

What’s New This Spring?

🌟 Expanded LMNOP & Leaps and Bounds – I’m excited to share that we are combining these two early childhood programs into one, now serving children ages 0-5! This means:
✔️ More peer-to-peer interaction for social development
✔️ Increased opportunities for following directions and group participation
✔️ A strong foundation for early learning, communication, and movement
✔️ Greater volunteer retention, ensuring a high-quality program experience

I truly believe that a larger group setting will encourage friendships and engagement, helping our youngest participants grow in confidence and connection. I can’t wait to see them in action!

🌟 Friends, Fun, & Fitness Goes Out on the Town! – One of my big goals this spring is to take our Friends, Fun, & Fitness program out into the community each month! Our teens and adults see their siblings, friends, and families going out for fun activities, and I want to make sure they have those same exciting experiences.

I’m working on planning outings like:
🎳 Bowling nights
🎭 Theater or movie outings
🍕 Dinner meetups
🎨 Art classes
🎶 Live music and local events

Of course, these outings come with costs, and I never want cost to stand in the way of participation. That’s why we are seeking sponsors—whether individuals or businesses—who want to help cover the cost of these outings so our participants can attend at no charge. If you or someone you know is interested in making these experiences possible, please let me know!

🌟 GiGi’s First-Ever Sweetheart Family Dance! – I am SO excited to announce our first-ever Sweetheart Family Dance! 💕 This special event will take place on:

📅 Saturday, February 15
⏰ 5:00-7:00 PM
📍 GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo

This is going to be a night to remember, featuring:
🎵 A live DJ playing all your favorite dance hits
💃 A dance floor ready for you to show off your moves
🍪 Snacks and sweet treats
❤️ Fun Valentine’s Day-themed activities

This dance is all about celebrating friendships, family, and fun, and I would LOVE to see as many of you there as possible! Whether you want to dance the night away or just enjoy the music and activities, come dressed in your best and get ready to make some amazing memories!

Looking Ahead

I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to plan these programs and events for our amazing participants and families. Seeing friendships form, confidence grow, and skills develop through our free programs is what makes GiGi’s Playhouse so special.
