At GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo, we’re all about celebrating the “Best of All” in our participants and volunteers. Every month, we shine a spotlight on a participant and a volunteer who embody the spirit of “Best of All.”

What is “Best of All”

“Best of All” is a daily challenge that encourages each person to do just a little better than they did the day before. It’s about celebrating small victories, such as standing one second longer, reading one more word, learning a new number, or taking an extra step. It’s never a competition and it’s never complete. It’s a journey of continuous growth and improvement.

By focusing on these small, incremental successes, we create a supportive and uplifting environment where everyone can thrive. Join us in recognizing the incredible achievements of our community and celebrating the “Best of All” moments that happen every day at GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo!

Community Partnership Best of All:

In reflecting on the purposeful programs we have offered this year, we are proud to highlight our strengthened partnership with Pediatric Partners, who have been integral to the success of our GiGiFIT Infant and Preschool programs for the past five years. The involvement of a physical therapist from Pediatric Partners has truly elevated the quality of these programs, providing invaluable knowledge to our families. Additionally, their Early Intervention team and specialists join us for “Tiny Talks,” offering expert information on topics ranging from sensory play to infant massage, directly benefiting our families. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Pediatric Partners team for their ongoing advocacy and passion in bringing out the best of all in our participants and their families.

Participant Best of All: Claire S

We are so excited to celebrate Claire as our participant best of all! Claire has joined us for programs such as GiGiFIT, GiGi’s Kitchen Kids, Backpack Buddies, Literacy tutoring, open plays, and of course, our special events.  Her joy is contagious, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand.  Claire accepted the role of “greeter” at our Teddy Bear Clinic on August 7 and greeted everyone who walked in the door, whether a healthcare professional or family of GiGi’s, with a welcome and a smile.  She works very hard to stay on task and try new things.  Claire’s unwavering kindness and enthusiasm make her a cherished friend.  Here’s to Claire- we love having her as a part of our GiGi’s family and there are countless reasons to celebrate her! 

Volunteer Best of All: Carlos Miranda

Our volunteer spotlight for the month is Carlos Miranda! Carlos has been our lead volunteer for GiGiFIT since January 2024.  He is dedicated, kind, energetic, and compassionate.  He keeps GiGiFIT fun, and our participants always look forward to seeing Carlos on Tuesday evenings. His unwavering commitment and work ethic have made a profound impact on our community, and his willingness to give his time and talents so generously is deeply appreciated. We are excited to welcome him to our Board of Directors. Carlos exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism, and we are incredibly grateful for all that he does.
