Cheers to 4 years in Fargo! Three years in the books of providing free purposeful programs for individuals with Down syndrome and their families! We welcomed new families, celebrated ‘best of all’ moments and continue to create a more kind, accepting and generous community.
GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo Family Wall
Year three is going to be tough to beat! GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo dreamed big going into the second annual ‘i have a Voice’ gala with our fund-a-need planned to jump start on a facility expansion. Fast forward to seven months later Playhouse families watched that dream turn into reality. We re-opened our doors September 22nd, 2019 with 1800 square feet of additional space. We added a GiGiFIT gym, multipurpose room, toddler toilet, another learning lab, teen area and lots of technology. We are overjoyed with the support of The Engelstad Foundation for making this dream into a reality!

Program participation hours: 2,807
Program participation hours individuals with Down syndrome: 1,078
Volunteer Hours: 4,550
Purposeful programs offered: 12
Families impacted: 135 and growing
