“Best of All”: GiGi’s Playhouse Dancers

This month’s #BestOfAll goes out to Landon, Lucy, Kearahston, Sara, and Zachary, for their incredible dance performance with the Wayne State University Dance Team!

This crew met at the Playhouse only three times to learn a brand new routine before performing it in front of a big crowd at the WSU Warriors’ basketball doubleheader on February 8th.

All 5 dancers clearly practiced on their own in addition to the 3 meetings at the Playhouse, because they knew all the choreography and kept up with the college dance team. With such a short amount of time to learn the routine, they NAILED IT!

Congratulations to these brave, fun, and talented dancers who brought their skills and swagger!

GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit’s DANCE introduces basic styles and techniques to participants while improving gross motor skills, cardiovascular conditioning, strength, flexibility, coordination, and mental & muscle memory. Special thanks to the WSU Dance Team for working with us!

We love our partnership with various clubs and educational tracks at Wayne State University and can’t wait to see what we collaborate on next!
