GiGi’s Chicago sees GenerationG in action everyday

We were running low on disinfectant wipes, paper towels, and toilet paper.  We highlighted our most urgent needs through our wish list and posted it in the playhouse and on social media.   Less that 24 hours later we heard a knock at our back door.  Matt, a volunteer, had made a huge Costco trip for us!  He unloaded 12 rolls of paper towels, 30 rolls of toilet paper, and 10 jumbo tubes of wipes.   THANK YOU!

Who is this amazing volunteer?

Matt got involved with GiGi’s after his wife, Kelly, began as a tutor here in 2015.   Since then, Matt and Kelly have helped at our Get Down With Down Syndrome Dance-a-thon, Anniversary Parties, and more.  Also, Matt and Kelly have been here to help us unload multiple furniture deliveries and even assembled our couch for us.  

Thank you Matt and Kelly for your amazing generosity.  As you can see, generosity comes in many different forms, whether it is financial, spending time tutoring an individual with Down syndrome, or both.
