Meet Our Summer Interns

Hi, my name is Diego. I am 24 years old. My favorite foods are pizza, Coke, cake, chicken, and burgers. My favorite color is green and my favorite movie is Boss Baby. I like to read, draw, and play sports, especially soccer. My all time favorite thing is PARTY TIME. At my internship, I learn a lot, like how to do new jobs. My favorite part of my internship is to help people. 

Hi, my name is Luis. I am 22 years old. I watch sports and my favorite movie is Monsters, INC. Hamburgers and rice are my favorite foods. My favorite colors are red and blue. My intern shirt is blue and I really like it! I love my family a lot, too. At my internship, I learn how to “goal, plan, do, and check.” I like to come to my internship at GiGi’s Playhouse to practice my reading, math, painting, and jobs. 

Hi, I am Lucy and I am 23 years old. My three favorite TV shows are Charmed (1998), Once Upon a Time,  and  True Blood. My favorite movies are Dark Shadows (with Johnny Depp), Sky High, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street. My favorite music artists are Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Adam Lambert, and the music from Riverdale. My favorite colors are purple, pink  and black.  My favorite three  foods are pizza, BBQ, and sushi. My three favorite  things  to do are reading and making spells and singing.  My favorite three things about GiGi’s are acting on the Shakespeare stage, spending time with my friends, and Teen Tastic. At my internship I write a blog and learn for my job. 

My name is Colleen. I am 23. I will be 24 this summer. My favorite part of GiGi’s is internship, Teen Tastic, Dance-a-Thon, and Art Explosion. My favorite things are music, acting, art, dance class, and sports in Special Olympics. I like to go to concerts, spend time with my friends and family, and go out to eat in restaurants. My dream job is to work at a music store. I can write lyrics, record, and be in a performance. I can do dance parties and I will make a playlist for songs to dance to. I like fun nights like Trivia Night, Game Night, and Dance Night with my friends. My favorite vacation is Michigan, Ohio, and Washington D.C. My favorite part about my internship is yoga and kitchen inventory.  

Hello my name is Sam. I am 22 years old. My favorite movie is Hotel Transylvania and my favorite color is green. My favorite food is pasta. I like werewolves and Frankenstein. My favorite thing to do is listen to music. At my internship I love to organize and help at the Playhouse. My favorite part about internship is writing in my binder and putting cool pictures on the outside. I like paperwork too.

My name is Emily and I am 24 years old. My favorite food is pizza and tacos. My favorite color is purple and my favorite movie is “Star Wars.” I like to play tennis and basketball. At my internship, I work on setting goals and how to plan to achieve them. My favorite part about my internship is organize art supplies and books. 

Hi, my name is Quincy and I’m 23 and a half years old. My job is to work at GiGi’s Playhouse and my duties are to work on GiGi’s stuff. First when I get to my internship, I sign in to enter the internship, put my lunch in the fridge, and unpack my bag. I love my internship so much. Why I work at GiGi’s is because it teaches me how to be successful at college and be independent. And plus I want to make my family and my boyfriend proud because they are caring for me. I work on binders and organize the Playhouse and write blogs about life. Please be an intern at GiGi’s. It’s so fun to work hard and to be challenged. I know it’s exhausting so it’s a big day for that. I know working hard is not my favorite thing to do but I do it so I can practice being more independent. My favorite thing about the Playhouse is spreading love with loved ones and doing Quincy’s corner. My other favorite part of GiGi’s is spending time with my friends and my teachers. The activities that I am doing are Quincy’s Corner and cooking and dance and EPIC every week. My favorite music is rap, country, and pop like Drake, Post Malone, Big Time Rush, Hannah Montana, and One Direction. I love dancing and acting on stage. I’ve been doing ABLE class on Sundays and I do yoga with Patty with friends on Zoom on the computer.
