Best of All from ages 1 to 23

Destination Discovery participants are giving their #BestofAll.

We have had so much fun at Destination Discovery this summer.   Destination Discovery is a purposeful program that supports the development of fine motor skills, gross motor skills, social skills and language through purposeful play and peer to peer interaction in a casual and fun setting.  The program is one of GiGi’s Signature Group Programs that is designed for ALL Ages.

We select a weekly theme for the program and all of the stations relate to the theme.  In July, one of the weekly themes was hot air balloons.  During a fine motor station, we worked on a coloring a picture of a hot air balloon.

A four year old mostly scribbled on her paper but then also practiced writing her name.

An eight year old carefully and deliberately chose colors and practiced verbalizing her choices for colors rather than pointing.

A 23 year old participant decided to make two pictures, and then dedicate them to her boyfriend. She lovingly colored the pictures and then wrote “to David, from Sam” on each.

We loved seeing this #BestofAll from our program participants.   Check out all of our purposeful programs on our Calendar.
