Winter programming is on!

Winter Programming is On!!

Our Winter Programming is ready to kick off this week with more literacy and math tutoring, fine motor skills/handwriting classes, gluten-free cooking tutorials, Wednesday Winners adult program and the return of Cabin Fever Busters for our Open Plays.

We still have space available in our Fine Motor Program, which will run for 6 weeks, beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 16 (4-5 p.m.). The class is designed for 4-7 year-olds and is run by trained occupational therapists.

We also have space available in our Gluten-Free Cooking class, which take place on Thursdays. The class is designed for 10-18 year-olds (and, yes, you get to sample what you make).

Finally, we’re pleased to announce the return of our Winter Cabin Fever Busters, which are a little added programming to our Sunday Open Plays. On Sunday, Jan. 20, the Girl Scouts (who have been helping with our Fine Motor Program) will lead a project or activity. On Feb. 3, an adaptive yoga instructor will be in-house to lead a session.

There are also a few spaces available for our new one-on-one Math Tutoring program (for students 4 and up).

As always, our programs are FREE to all participants. If you want to register for the Fine Motor, Math Tutoring or Cooking classes, e-mail us atchicago@gigisplayhouse.org for more information.
