Good Morning, Chicago Families!

Continuing our Mission
You already know about Ribfest (for every volunteer we bring in, we get money; so e-mail us for a volunteer form), Game Night (register now), and we’d love to have you on our 5K team (see below). So, let’s take this opportunity to welcome our new families to the Playhouse.

GirlOver the past three weeks, we’ve had at least five (I’ve lost count) new families come in to the Playhouse for tours, Open Plays and general information. Many of these new families come through referrals from our current member families, and we’re happy for every one of them. When you hear of a family who might be interested in our programs or our mission, please encourage them to contact us, either via e-mail or phone (773-583-PLAY (7529)).

Our mission is to reach as many families as possible throughout Chicago. We appreciate your help in accomplishing that. Thank you.

The 5K Is Coming

What are you doing on June 12? Don’t forget to head out to the GiGi’s Playhouse Chicagoland 5K. We’ve set up a Chicago team, so you won’t feel like you’re out there by yourself. Just select “Chicago Playhouse” under Team Affiliation on the registration page.

From there, you can set up your own fundraising page, soliciting support and donations from friends and family around the country (and world, if you’re that spread out). The money you raise from this event comes back to the Playhouse to support our operations and programming.

The 5K run and 1 mile walk are at a new location this year, and it’s always a great opportunity to see the difference we’re making throughout the area.
