Join Us This January for Our GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago Open House Event Series!

Start the new year with community, connection, and celebration! Throughout the month of January, GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago is excited to host a special Open House event series designed to welcome families, participants, and volunteers into our vibrant Playhouse community.

Each Open House is paired with one of our signature programs, giving you the opportunity to experience the joy, learning, and empowerment that happens here every day. Whether you’re a longtime member of our community or new to GiGi’s Playhouse, these events are the perfect chance to meet our board members, staff, program leaders, volunteers, and other Playhouse families while learning more about the incredible work happening here. We can’t wait to welcome you!

Remember to RSVP through our Playhouse calendar for open house events and programs.

Thursday, January 15

Open House: 4:30–5:30 PM
GiGiFIT Adult: 5:30–7:00 PM
Join us for a lively evening Open House featuring a build-your-own trail mix bar! Afterward, adult participants ages 18+ are invited to participate in GiGiFIT Adult, a dynamic program that supports strength, balance, health, and confidence through movement.

Programs vs. Open Houses: What’s the Difference?

Our programs are designed for specific age groups to ensure participants receive the most meaningful, developmentally appropriate experience possible. However, the Open House portions of these events are open to everyone!

Whether you’re:

  • Part of a Playhouse family
  • A program participant
  • A prospective volunteer
  • Or simply curious about what we do

You’re invited to stop by, say hello, explore the space, and enjoy the festivities during the open house times!

There’s no better time to visit GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago. Join us to learn how we empower individuals with Down syndrome through purposeful programs, community support, and joyful connection. Whether you stop by for a program, attend an open house, or just want to learn more, we’d love to see you this January.
