A Little Love For Our Donors
achieveIt may be the day after Valentine’s Day, but we figured this was still a good time to show some love to the many groups and foundations who have been supporting us.

Over the past few months, we’ve been the fortunate recipient of donations from many noteworthy organizations such as: The CarMax Foundation, TTX Corporation, Incredible Technologies, The Joseph A. Goldberg Family Foundation, The Alben F. and Clara G. Bates Foundation, as well as a local foundation that preferred to remain anonymous (making a donation in the name of volunteer extraordinaire Amanda Hillmann). We’ve also received matching gifts from Henderson Global Advisors and BlackRock.

These donations mean a lot to us, proving that our mission of spreading positive awareness for people with Down syndrome is having an impact. We appreciate everyone one of them, and every one of you who have helped us secure them.

Mom’s Not Going Out.
Due to a scheduling conflict with Ups for Down’s (which is holding a seminar covering advances in research and treatment for Down syndrome), the Mom’s Night Out that was scheduled for this evening (Feb. 15) has been canceled. We will reschedule another one in the coming months.
