Volunteer Spotlight: Kailyn
At GiGi’s Playhouse Canton, our volunteers bring creativity, passion, and joy to every program—and today we are excited to celebrate Kailyn Butt!

Kailyn is full of energy and enthusiasm. She loves crafting, dancing, and trying new things, and she shares her life with her fiancé, Ayden, and their dog, Zoro.
Her favorites give a peek into her vibrant personality: she loves the colors yellow, purple, and green, enjoys spring, and is passionate about activities like Pilates, making fairy gardens, journaling, and cooking with her fiancé. Kailyn also loves dining at Aladdin’s Eatery and HoneyGrow, and if she could splurge anywhere, it would be at a craft store!
Kailyn first learned about GiGi’s Playhouse through her sister and the Budd family. When the opportunity arose to bring dance to the Playhouse, everything fell into place. With a love for dance and a passion for helping others, Kailyn found the perfect way to combine both at GiGi’s.
At the Playhouse, Kailyn teaches the Tuesday evening adult dance program. Her classes include full-body stretches, warm-ups, skills across the floor, and learning dances that grow week by week. Each spring session culminates in two exciting performances where participants shine on stage.
For Kailyn, the most rewarding moments are simple yet profound: being greeted with love from the participants every time she arrives and witnessing their dedication and talent. One standout memory came last year at the Spirit Sparktacular, when her dance team’s performance brought her to happy tears—proof of the heart, effort, and joy these participants put into every dance.

We are so grateful for Kailyn’s energy, creativity, and dedication. Volunteers like her remind us that GiGi’s Playhouse is a place where passion meets purpose, and every moment shared makes a lasting impact.
Thank you, Kailyn, for sharing your heart, talent, and love of dance with GiGi’s Playhouse! If you have a passion that you want to bring to the Playhouse, complete our volunteer interest form and get involved!
