Volunteer Spotlight…Meet Lauren!
Hi Everyone!
I’m Lauren and I’m a student at UW-Whitewater currently studying music education. I’ve been playing the saxophone for around eight years now. I play piano as well, but I’ve only been playing for a few years. I’ve been give nmany opportunities to travel because o music. I’ve traveled to Europe multiple times, marched in the Rose Bowl, and played a halftime show at Lambeau Field.
I enjoy listening to a bunch of different artists including: The Beatles, ABBA, Amy Winehouse, Jon Batiste, Jacob Collier, Ben Folds, Billy Joel, Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, Charlie Parker, Ariana Grande, Ella Fitzgerald, Chicago, and David Bowie just to name a few. My liked songs playlight on Spotify has over 1,000 songs. So if that doesn’t show that I’m an avid music lover, I don’t know what will.
I’m so excited that I’m able to help start up the music program for Fall session at GiGi’s and look forward to seeing you!!!
