New Tween Cooking Class
The Tween cooking class is designed to teach the basics of cooking. Class members will discuss cooking terms, talk about recipes for our favorite foods, and learn to use measuring devices and cooking utensils. During each class food will be prepared for "snack time."

Skaneateles Parade Pictures
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Labor Day Parade in Skaneateles! The weather was beautiful, although the route was the longest of all of the parades this season. We hope that our participation spread awareness in the Skaneateles area.
Skaneateles Labor Day Parade
The Skaneateles Labor Day Parade that GiGi's Playhouse will be marching in is on September 2nd. The parade is at 4:00 but we need to meet at the YMCA community center to line up by 3:00. The YMCA is on State Street right before Austin park. Please wear your t-shirts if you have one already.
Progress at the new playhouse
The Silver Hammers, a group of retired carpenters who are donating their time, will begin building walls to create additional literacy rooms at our Driver's Village location. If anyone is willing to volunteer during the next month to help with cleaning and rehabilitating the space, please contact Ally at aschilly@verizon.net.
