A sweet month indeed!

Last year our friends at the Speach Family Candy Shoppe decided they wanted to give back to the community that has supported them for the past 100 years. So they started a contest for the community to nominate their favorite non-profit organization. The Speach family would then spotlight each of the ten organizations that received the most votes. We are humbled and honored to be one of the recipients of the Speach Family Candy Shoppe’s “10 Decades of Giving” Event.

February is our month and it couldn’t be sweeter! With every purchase made throughout February, the Speach Family is generously donating a portion of their sales back to GiGi’s Playhouse Syracuse. This includes in-store and online sales. We even have an exclusive product that they will sell all year long that we will receive 100% of the profits from. Think Easter baskets, stockings, class party goodies and more! All year long you can share #generationG in such a sweet way!

Since we are all about celebrating our “extra” here at GiGi’s Playhouse, we will also be spending the extra day in February taking over the Shoppe! On February 29th, from 11am-2pm, stop into the Shoppe to pick up some goodies and say hello to some of your favorite friends. We will be there spreading all the goodness GiGi’s has to offer.

The incredibly generous donations from the Speach family will help us continue our free purposeful programs for our families and we are so grateful for their support!

Thank you to Michael and everyone at Speach Family Candy Shoppe for this opportunity to shout the worth of individuals with Down syndrome to the community and thank you to everyone who voted for us! Please be sure to visit the Speach Family Candy Shoppe this month and all year!
