Welcome to Colleen, Our New SLP!

We are extremely proud to be running the Amina Grace Speech and Language program for the fourth session since 2021, here at GiGi’s Playhouse Southern Tier. Providing speech services for our participants gives them the opportunity to break through barriers caused by speech related struggles. To learn more about the Amina Grace Speech and Language, watch this beautiful video that explains how it all began.

Our Playhouse is very lucky to get to work so closely with Speech Language Pathologist from Binghamton University. This spring we welcome a new SLP, Colleen!

“I’m excited to have already seen so many familiar faces from different settings! I have worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Early Intervention, Preschool and in various programs in the schools and home based services in Broome County.  My current home during the days is at Broome-Tioga BOCES.  I love learning about and using Augmentative and Alternative Communication and helping families communicate, have fun and play together. I enjoy skiing, photography and hanging out with my three young adult children and training my Aussie-mix puppy. As a member of Binghamton University’s Speech Language Pathology team, I look forward to meeting everyone here at GiGi’s Playhouse and getting started on our new adventure together!”

We can’t wait to see the amazing things Colleen will work through with our participants!
